The hope of Salvation

The first thing you need to know is how much God deeply loves you.  This is step one and provides the foundation for everything that comes afterward.  So, if you hear anything from us, please hear this: God thinks you are special and He loves you as a perfect Father loves His child.

We often get hung up on questions like do “good” people go to heaven and “bad” people go to hell? Do we earn it or deserve it?

Culture has conditioned us to be performance-based in the way we give and receive love. Thankfully, God's Word says He loves us no matter what we do.  He loves us just as we are.

Salvation is one of the most misunderstood concepts of the Christian faith; yet, according to Scripture, receiving it or rejecting it determines where you will spend eternity. The confusion may be due to the fact that salvation was designed by a God who isn’t limited by human reasoning or thinking.

Salvation is bigger than that. And bigger than us.

What the Bible Says about Salvation:

Ephesians 2:8

What the Bible Says about Receiving Salvation:

Notice there is nothing above about being perfect or “having it all together.” However, remaining on the spiritual sidelines is not a path to salvation. You don’t have to measure up to some impossible religious standard, but you will be changed for the better if you truly and faithfully follow Him.

Scripture is clear that those who accept Jesus will spend eternity in heaven; those who reject Him as Savior—which includes living a “good life” but not following Him—will not. Jesus also refuses to be treated as an insurance policy or back-up plan—He loves you too much for an unreal relationship.

If you've experienced a personal "religious guilt," that's not from God. All of humanity, not just you, is separated from a holy God by our sin. Your sin is taken away if you ask Him. The answer isn't guilt, it's Jesus.

Jesus said, “No one comes to the Father except through me.”
