A little bit about me: I gave my heart to Jesus when I was around 16 at my church youth group. When my youth pastor discovered I could carry a tune I started helping out with the worship. That’s when I really fell in love with music and leading others in worship. Eventually, I went to Azusa Pacific University and got a degree in Music, focusing on Theory and Composition.
I met my wife, Janelle, at our church’s college group, and it was love at first sight! We’ve got two incredible adult kids: Shae and Josh.
Favorite Book:
Worship His Majesty (Jack Hayford), Emotionally Healthy Spirituality (Pete Scazzero), anything Grisham and all the Jack Reacher novels. I love to read. If you do too, let’s grab some coffee and discuss what we’re reading.

BBQ, Italian, fresh fish, anything between two pieces of bread, Mexican…ok so I love food!

I love to surf, watch movies, listen and play music
What is a little known fact about you?
I have an unusual combination of being both left- and right-handed. I write and eat with my left hand, but I do most other activities with my right hand. When I first started playing the guitar, I wanted to play it left-handed, but since I was borrowing a right-handed guitar, I forced myself to learn how to play right-handed. I play the piano left-handed. 🙂
