Chiapas Fundraiser Concert and Silent Auction
Join us for an exciting night of music. This concert and silent auction will help our team as they go to Chiapas Mexico to minister to the children at Casa Hogar Orphanage.
Kai Clark – When you’re the son of the Byrds’ Gene Clark – a pivotal figure in the formation of three distinct sub-genres of rock music (folk/psychedelic/country) – there’s a certain expectation, spoken or unspoken, that you’ll pick up the guitar and join the family business. On October 16th, Kai Clark will pick up his guitar and carry on the family tradition.
Lake House is a group of seasoned musicians that have played together in various groups over the years. Now they have finally come together as one band! Lake House features the lead vocals of Hilary Seleb & Randy Kellerman, guitars and Mandolin by Randy and Gary Leek, and stand up bass by Nigel Kirkland. Lake House will be presenting acoustic selections from their Country, folk, bluegrass and gospel repertoire.
King Mersey lead a wild charge into a marathon set of early rock classics. Just for the evening It’s 1963 and the songs of Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly and Carl Perkins collide headfirst with the spirit of the early Stones, the Yardbirds and the Dave Clark Five.
Ariana Espinoza and Natalie Cervantes, bring you an eclectic blend of classic gypsy instrumental, Freddie Mercury, Leonard Cohen, and worship music.
The Chiapas House band will be playing familiar jazz classics with a down-home R&B groove.
Tickets are $20 each or $45 for a family. Coffee and dessert are included.
